Italian town of 32,182 inhabitants in the province of Brindisi in Puglia. Also known as the White City, because of its quaint old town that was once painted with white lime, now only partially. Together with Taranto and Santa Maria di Leuca, is one of the highest ideals of the Salento peninsula. Famous tourist center, in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 has received the Blue Flag and five sails Legambiente for cleaning the waters of its coast and the quality of services offered.
